Mel's first round mock draft is up this morning.
Two immediate thoughts come to mind:
1. There is no way the Redskins braintrust is smart enough to pick Orakpo.
2. I hope Morgan Moses notices that OLU has another trenchman in the top 10...congrats to Mean Gene!

I completely understand the need for office security measures to force me to change my password every 90 days. The clear & present danger posed be absolutely nobody having any interest in the information held on my hard drive justifies the frustration of me having to come up with yet another unique password including upper & lower case letters, numbers, and at least one character that requires holding the shift key to type.
I reached the end of my most recent three month window this week. That would have put my last change somewhere between the Browns & Lions game on the Skins schedule. And that explains why I chose to use an homage to the pride of DC as my last password. Of course, things took a dramatic turn over the course of the next few months, which happened to coincide with the life of the afore mentioned password. No big deal right? Completely coincidental...
Well, in keeping with the sports theme, I decided to devote the new incarnation to the only team of relevance in my life currently, the Hoos bball squad. In the three days since, Leitao & Co. lost to the second most miserable school in the ACC, and even worse, the most miserable school in the ACC knocked off the #1 team in the country for the 2nd time in three years.
Needless to say, my password has been changed again.

I have never played hockey, nor have I ever considered myself a true hockey fan. However, it only took a couple free tickets to Caps games during my tenure at The Washington Post for me to realize just how much fun watching Alexander Ovechkin play can be. Throw in my complete desperation for a winning team to root for and God's most glorious gift to mankind of the last decade (read: HD) and I can honestly say I am pumped to watch my first full regular-season hockey game on TV tonight.
The well-documented snow job that #8 received in the all-star voting and the opportunity to see Sidney Crosby laid out makes tonight's match-up must see TV. The only thing I'm not too excited about are the multiple 20 minute intermissions, but that is why Fox gives me overly confident terrible singers to laugh at.
