Dinner Game Mania

You want a great game to play at dinner? Try this one. Go around the table and share one thing that you are thankful to God about. I would recommend at least 3 players. Each time you go around, someone has to share one thing that they are thankful for. If you cant think of something or if you repeat what someone else has shared, you’re out.
Tonight, our family played and it was great to recall all that God has truly given us. My seven year old, on his third try, said that he was glad the Christ died for our sins. He got an extra point. This simple game lifted our spirits as we talked about how much God has done for our family. What a great way to spend the dinner hour. Believe it our not, this was a time of praise as we thought about how good God has been to us.
Go around the table tonight and see just what God has done and just how good your life really is.

I am reeling from the loss of a pet, but, again realizing that I have other pet companions still left and I must go on.
I am extremely grateful for the ones I have and their power to restore my happiness.
Thank you again-Karen

Dear Pastor Michael,
This was a wonderful suggestion. It might help bring gratitude and understanding back into the family life. As Don Henley says in a song “Too long we’ve lived these unexamined lives.“
Today, I am reeling from the loss of a pet, but, again realizing that I have other pet companions still left and I must go on.
I am extremely grateful for the ones I have and their power to restore my happiness.
Thank you again-Karen
